As part of a working visit to Japan, on September 7, Member of the Standing Board and Head of the Commission for Internal Affairs of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee Duong Manh Cuong held a working session with Minister Counsellor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan Nguyen Sau.
At the meeting, Member of the Standing Board and Head of the Commission for Internal Affairs of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee Duong Manh Cuong briefed participants on Quang Ninh’s socio-economic development, potential, advantages and development orientations in the new period. He also emphasised the city’s policy of expanding external relations and strengthening connectivity and cooperation with Japanese localities, organisations and businesses.
Minister Counsellor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan Nguyen Sau spoke highly of Quang Ninh City’s potential, advantages and development orientations, and affirmed that the Embassy would coordinate and support connections and promote cooperation between Quang Ninh and Japanese partners, helping make cooperation programmes increasingly specific, substantive and effective.
The working visit and related activities in Japan provided an opportunity to further promote Quang Ninh’s image, potential and strengths, while expanding its network of partners and creating additional opportunities to advance international cooperation, contributing to the city’s rapid and sustainable development in the coming period.
