Deputy Prime Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ta Quang Dong, signed the document on organizing World Circus Festival 2019 in Ha Long.
Accordingly, the Ministry agreed with Quang Ninh’s proposal on organizing the festival from Nov 11th to 17th at Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center with the participation of 100 artists from international and national circus troupes.
Within the scope of the festival, there will be a circus street parade, a circus performance competition, and a workshop on circus and tourism development, an international culinary festival, an OCOP and handicraft exhibition.
World Circus Festival – Ha Long 2019 provides opportunity to boost cooperation circus art between Vietnam and countries global-wide. It is also a chance for local people to enjoy exciting circus performances. Besides, it is a premise to organize the festival annually in Quang Ninh and create a new tourism product in winter – the low tourist season.
