On September 18, Ha Long University held a signing ceremony for cooperation agreements on English-language training and the provision of internationally standardised language certificates.
Under the agreements, Ha Long University will cooperate with two partners, Minh Phu 689 Joint Stock Company and Viet Nam Trading and Development Education Company Limited, to organise training, exam preparation and testing for Aptis ESOL certificates.
Aptis ESOL is an international computer-based English proficiency test developed by the British Council and recognised by the Ministry of Education and Training as equivalent to Vietnam’s six-level foreign language proficiency framework.
By expanding cooperation with reputable and experienced organisations equipped with modern educational facilities, Ha Long University aims to improve the quality of foreign language training and gradually align its training programmes with widely used proficiency standards. This will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the university’s graduates in the labour market, while also expanding access to internationally standardised study programmes and certificates for foreign language learners across the city.
