In the framework of a working visit to Vietnam, in the morning of Sept 28, the delegation of Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs of the Senate of the Czech Republic led by Mr. Miroslav Antl- chairman of the Committee had a courtesy meeting with leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council. The delegation was also accompanied by Mr. Michal Kral- Czech Republic extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador in Vietnam.
Speaking at the reception ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hien, standing vice-chairman of the QN Provincial People’s Council has expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation to Quang Ninh. He has introduced to the delegation an overview of natural conditions, population, socio-economic situation, especially the province’s potentials and strengths in which Czech investors could invest.
He has also presented organization system of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council, as well as roles, functions and tasks of the People’s Councils at lower levels.
Mr Miroslav Antl thanked the Quang Ninh’s leaders for their warm welcome to the delegation. He has then introduced about the system of legislative, executive and judiciary bodies of the Czech Republic, and discussed the issues in which the two sides are interested.
After visiting Ha Long Bay, they left Ha Long to Ha Noi in the afternoon to continue their working visit trip in Viet nam.
