The construction of Ammonium Nitrate Plant with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year has just been kicked off by Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) at Thai Tho industrial complex, Thai Thuy District (Thai Binh province)
Ammonium Nitrate Plant is a special industrial project with the total investment capital of over VND 57,600 billion. The construction of this Plant will be completed within 27 months since validation of the EPC contract. The major products of the plant are crystal Ammonium Nitrate (100,000 tons per year) and Poruous Ammonium Nitrate (100,000 tons per year). The operation of this plant will enable Vinacomin to fully supply for themselves raw materials for manufacturing industrial explosive materials to meet the demands of not only coal – minerals industry but also the needs of other sectors in the countrywide
As reported, the investor of this project is General Mining Chemical Industry Company who will ensure the deadline safety, security, fire and explosion prevention as well as environmental protection and other requirements in the most serious way.
