Vietnam-Laos to build a luxury resort in Tuan Chau-Ha Long

On August 16th, in Vientiane, Laos, a MoU was signed by the Chairman of Tuan Chau group Dao Hong Tuyen and Somvang Vongvilay, the General Director of Chitchareun Construction Company (Laos) on building a luxury resort at Tuan Chau island (in Ha Long city).

Under the MoU, the two sides agreed to invest in building a 4 ha luxury resort at Tuan Chau island. They have drawn the planning and overall architectual design of the project and prepared legal procedures for the joint-venture contract. The project is expected to be granted with the investment certificate in September  and kicked off in October, 2013.

Previously, at his reception with Mr. Dao Hong Tuyen, Laotian Vice-Minister Somsavad Lengsavath higly appreciated the investment and cooperation of Vietnamese enterprises in Laos. He especially treasures Mr. Dao Hong Tuyen who had visited Laos and signed the MoU on constructing a luxurious resport at Tuan Chau island. Mr. Somsavad Lengsavath believed that with its experiences, Tuan Chau group will ensure the project’s progress as agreed, contributing to the special tie between the two countries.

For his part, Tuyen promised to make his best effort to effectively implement the project, contributing to sustainable development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive copperation relationship between Laos and Vietnam.
