The Vietnam-China Border Trade and Tourism Fair 2014 was co-organized by Mong Cai city (Vietnam) and Dongxing city of Guangxi province (China). on December 22 in Dongxing city.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Quang Tung- Vice Chairman of QNPPC; Mr. Pham Thanh Binh-General Consulate of Vietnam in Nanning (China); Mr. Liu zhengdong-Vice Chairman of Guangxi's FrontFather's Committee (China), as well as other leaders of Fangchenggang city and Dongxing city.
With the theme of "Supporting- Cooperating through the border", the fair draws the participation of nearly 500 businesses, of which over 100 of Vietnam. It includes a series of trade and investment promotion activities, a wood furniture festival, a festival on the river for the two countries' youths...
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Le Quang Tung affirmed that the border trade and tourism fair is a great opportunity to enhance investment, trade and tourism promotion; extending the cooperation relation and create potential opportunities for both enterprises and people of the two countries to joint the trade and exchange activites.
The fair wraps up on December 26.
