On Oct. 29, in Ha Long city, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh had a meeting with a delegation of the Saitama Provincial People's Council (Japan) led by Mr. Seniji Suzuki.
Vice Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh has briefed the delegation about the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh. Accordingly, Quang Ninh is located in the Northeast of Vietnam. It has a strategic geographical location for economic development. In its development orientation by 2020, Quang Ninh strives to be a motivative development center of the northern part of Quang Ninh and a modern service and industrial province. However, it is facing lots of difficulties and challenges in economic development and environmental and natural protection.
Thanh stressed that Quang Ninh pledges to offer the best conditions to enhance the cooperation tie with Japan's provinces. He also wished Quang Ninh would receive more support and cooperation from Japan. He hoped that Quang Ninh and Saitama would set up the friendship creating a sustainable basis for future development.
On behalf of the Saitama Provincial People's Council delegation, Mr. Seniji Suzuki sincerely thanked QNPPC's leaders for their cordial reception. He expressed his hope for a long- lasting friendship between Saitama and Quang Ninh. Mr. Seniji Suzuki said that the delegation members are interested in the information regarding improvement of infrastructure, socio - economic development and policies and incentives of Quang Ninh. On this occasion, Mr. Seniji Suzuki handed the letter from Chairman of Saitama province to Quang Ninh provincial leaders.
