On Mar. 11, in Ha Long city, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Dang Huy Hau chaired a meeting with a delegation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) led by Mr. Koji Otasuka, Director of JICA project (Osaka University) on the occasion of his visit to Quang Ninh.
After a warm welcome, a representative of the JICA reported results of the first phase of the project that was conducted from 2009 to 2012. Accordingly, JICA is carrying out the second phase.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau sincerely thanked JICA for its great contribution to the environmental protection of Ha Long city. He highly appreciated good results that JICA has achieved in the project contributing to raise people’s awereness in protecting environment.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau invited the delegation to attend Sakura Festival 2014 to be held in the middle of April.
