Tuan Chau Group is now promptly building the second wharf called Ngoc Chau in Tuan Chau Ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.
Under the planning that has been adopted by QNPPC on Feb. 17, 2011, the wharf is located in the Southwest of Tuan Chau island, adjacent to golf course and current Southern Tuan Chau tourist wharf .
Ngoc Chau wharf is larger about 10 times than the Southern Tuan Chau Wharf. It stretches 5km along the coastline, covering an area of 65.5ha. It can accommodate around 600 big junks at the same time. It is expected that construction of Ngoc Chau International Wharf will be completed by the end of 2013.
Construction of a large wharf in a peaceful and sheltered area at Tuan Chau- Ha Long will be a positive development strategy. It will not only expectably open a new type tourism contributing to diversifying Ha Long’s tourism products but also makes a decisive breakthrough in further promote the image of Tuan Chau- Ha Long, Vietnam on the global map of marine tourism.
