A group of the Provincial leader officials headed by Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Do Thi Hoang has ended up its training course on public management and public policy from 15-29 July 2012 at the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS).
During their 15 days in Singapore, all the members of the delegation had the chance to study 11 special subjects focusing on new public management and public services; procedures to select and implement the strategies; Singapore experiences in implementation of the social and educational policies, human and labor management, urban management, and casino management. They also learned about tourism industry of Singapore, as well as its experiences in tourism planning, tourism marketing and sustainable tourism development.
The group also visited and worked with the Vietnamese Ambassador in Singapore, visited the Urban re-development and Transportation Authority of Singapore, and a number of famous spots, namely: two resort complex with casino, Marina Bay Sands and Sentosa, the Gardens by the Bay, rivers and ports of Singapore.
The leader of MDIS and his lecturers highly appreciated Quang Ninh delegation’s diligence and their open discussion during the training course.
At the summation of the course, the Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on behalf of the delegation sincerely thanked the MDIS for its assistance and collaboration, and wished that QNPPC and the MDIS would have further cooperation with each other in training and fostering the provincial cadres.
