On July 10, in Mong Cai city, the provincial leaders have cut the ribbon to inaugurate the first phase of the newly-built US$ 300 mil fiber plant, one of the largest FDI project in Quang Ninh. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duc Long - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Nguyen Van Doc - Chairman of QNPPC, and Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Vice Chairman of QNPPC.
The whole project covers an area of 40ha in Hai Yen industrial zone with production capacity of nearly 140 thousand tons per year.
“This is the first FDI project that was granted investment certificate by QNPPC right after the Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Conference 2012 and has the largest total investment capital among the projects implemented in Quang Ninh’s industrial zones”,said the Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc. He also strongly affirmed that Texhong Group is always a strategic partner of the province and will be accompanied by QNPPC in planning and implementing other projects in the future for the mutual development.
Chairman Doc has then requested Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority, Mong Cai City People’s Committee and other relevant provincial departments to continue to support and provide the investor with the best conditions during the implementation of the final phases of the project.
After the inauguration, the second phase of the project was kicked off and is planned to be completed in 2015.
