According to the news provided by the Organizing Board of Vietnam- China International Trade and Tourism Fair 2011, important components, namely: trader recruitment, electricity, water, security and reception met the timeline and mostly completed. Through the Fair, the position of Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone will be affirmed as a trade hub between ASEAN and China.
As reported, the Fair attracts the participation of over 300 goods stores of many large enterprises. Of which, more than 100 goods stores of nearly 80 Chinese enterprises; over 70 goods stores from 10 cities and provinces in the nationwide, including Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Ha Noi, Gia Lai, Lam Dong... and almost 40 goods stores of districts, towns and cities within Quang Ninh Province.
Goods displayed at the Fair are mainly the ones that have potentials to export, such as: exported handicraft items; construction materials; exported rubber and timber... and other goods items of Mong Cai city that are dominated in commercial transaction between Vietnam and China.
Especially, in Opening Ceremony of the Fair, representative leaders of the two provinces will witness the Signing ceremony of the agreements and cooperation among 16 enterprises of the two countries.
In the framework of the Fair, a workshop on development and cooperation in Trade, Tourism and Investment in the border area of Quang Ninh (Vietnam)-Guangxi (China) will be held, and other exchange activities will also take place.
In Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Board will have sum-up meeting and reward certificates of merit to 30 enterprises that have excellent achievements in the Fair.
