On Dec.18, Quang Ninh Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs had a working session with the Cambodian interdisciplinary delegation led by Mrs. H.E HouSamith, Secretary of State, Ministry of Women's Affairs, on the prevention and combat of human trafficking.
At the working session, leaders of the Quang Ninh Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs discussed about policies and laws in the prevention and control of human trafficking; advices and legal assistance for victims.
Representative of the delegation, Mrs. H.E HouSamith informed about the practices of human trafficking implemented in Cambodia; investment in material facilities; time for verifying and supporting victims of trafficking. At the same time, she highly appreciated the active participation of Quang Ninh province in the prevention and combat of human trafficking. She hoped that Quang Ninh and Cambodia would have close cooperation to effectively implement human trafficking prevention and control in coming time.
