Thanh Cong Ha Long Technology Industrial Complex in Quang Ninh

Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thang chaired a meeting on May 4 in Ha Long city to review the preparation plan for the Thanh Cong Ha Long Technology Industrial Complex, which will be invested by Thanh Cong Viet Hung Technology Industrial Complex JSC.

The Thanh Cong Ha Long Technology Industrial Complex covers an area of around 150ha. This is one of the key projects to develop eco- friendly car manufacture industry.

To be well-prepared for the project, the investor have worked with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the consultants to develop the environmental impact assessment report as a fundamental step for the next procedures of the project. Also according to the investor, the land clearance process is being caried out in Ha Long City and Hoanh Bo District.

Concluding the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thang affirmed that the project plays an important role for Quang Ninh's development. Having said that, he therefore agreed on the investor's proposals of establishing an supportive industrial cluster for the automobile manufacture industry. He assigned the Ha Long City People's Committee to develop planning of the cluster to implement the next steps.

The Provincial Economic Zones' Management Board was also asked to closely work with relevant sectors and departments and the investor to fulfill all the legal administrative procedures. Besides, Ha Long city and Hoanh Bo district is urged to speed up the land clearance so that the project would be implemented as soon as possible.

The Vice Chairman also requested the investor to quickly complete the environmental impact assessment report to submit the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and approval.
