On July 10, a ceremony has just been held by Texhong Ngan Long Textile Group (China) to kick off the Texhong Textile Plant project at Hai Yen industrial zone (in Mong Cai city). This is the first FDI project which was granted with investment certificate by QNPPC right after the Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Conference 2012.

It is also the largest FDI project of the ones that have been invested so far in economic zones and industrial parks  within Quang Ninh.

The 40 hectare Texhong Textile Plant at Hai Yen industrial zone has the total investment capital of US$ 300mln, consisting of 6 fiber firms with the capacity of nearly 140,000 tons per year. It will produce natural cotton fiber, man-made fiber, cloths and trade sell fiber products. When it is in operation, the plant is expected to create jobs for 4,500 local people and about 2,500 labors from other provinces.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice-Chairman of QNPPC Dang Huy Hau confirmed that this is the biggest ever project, the QNPPC commits to direct its relevant provincial departments as well as Mong Cai City People's Committee to support and provide the investor with the best conditions.  The Vice-Chairman of QNPPC also requested investor and constructors to respect the deadline of the project and comply with the Investment Law of Vietnam.
