On May 21, the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Provincial Business Association co-held “Technology Café for innovative startups” with the presence of Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Bui Van Khang.
The event aims to create a start-up eco-system and cohesion among state management agencies, science and technology organizations, universities, educational establishments and start-ups in science and technology sector.
More than 80 small and medium-sized enterprises attended the event. They were introduced to Quang Ninh’s incentives and policies for scienctific and technological development. Implementing the resolution No.43 issued in December 2016 by Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council to encourage organizations and individuals in scientific and technological activities, the Department of Science and Technology also granted financial support to 16 businesses.
Speaking at the event, Vice chairman Bui Van Khang affirmed that Quang Ninh always set aside resources to boost science and technology. He asked revevant departments and sectors to continuously propose practical policies to facilitate science and technology enterprises to manufacture hi-tech products and high-quality services, meanwhile contributing to enhancing PCI and DDCI indices.
