On August 28, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Vietnamese Ministry of Investment and Planning, and South Korean Embassy in Vietnam jointly organized South Korean Business Investment Promotion Conference 2020 with the theme “Quang Ninh 2020 – Destination for Investment”.
The Conference aims at innovating investment promotion methods, giving priority to promoting on-site investment, and focusing on FDI investors; improving the efficiency of investment promotion and attracting more South Korean capital inflows into the province; creating opportunities for provincial investors and businesses and South Korean partners who have been doing successful business in Vietnam to meet, exchange information, and establish cooperation ties, thus forming added value production chain.
At the conference, Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Agency (IPA Quang Ninh) and South Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) signed an MOU on investment promotion. Accordingly, both sides will support each other in holding workshops, meetings, and seminars on investment promotion. Quang Ninh will create the most favorable conditions for South Korean’s delegation during their trip to the province for investment promotion and vice-verse. Also at the conference, LS Electric Vietnam Company Limited offered Quang Ninh
1,500 test kits for SARS-CoV-2 virus with total cost of nearly 1 billion VND.
After the conference, the Korean investor delegation visited Dong Mai Industrial Park in Quang Yen Town and Van Don International Airport.
