On Nov.30, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Department of Tourism held a seminar on Quang Ninh Meetings, incentives, conference and exhibitions (MICE) tourism development with the participation of more than 250 delegates representing for management units, media and travel agencies, as well as domestic and international tourism enterprises.
At the event, highly appreciating potential and strengths of Quang Ninh for MICE tourism development, the delegates affirmed that Quang Ninh fully converged the potential and advantages of tourism development and is considered as an ideal venue to organize MICE tourism.
The province and enterprises have paid special attention to tourism human resource training, especially in professional skills, vocational and foreign language skills. Thanks to its great advantages and potential of natural resouces, developed infrastructure, relatively high quality tourism human resource, Ha Long city in particular and Quang Ninh province in general are regarded as attractive destinations for the MICE tourism. Clarifying strengths and weaknesses, the delegates also discussed and proposed useful solutions to develop Quang Ninh MICE tourism in coming time.
Within the framework of the seminar, Quang Ninh tourism enterprises displayed publications introducing Quang Ninh MICE products to delegates, units and enterprises participating in the event.
