On May 23, in Ha Long city, QNPPC had a meeting with SE Group to listen to the report on investment and construction solutions for Bach Dang bridge on the road connecting Ha Long city with Hanoi-Haiphong highway. Mr. Nguyen Van Doc-Chairman of QNPPC chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, representative of SE Group has made a report on investment and construction solutions for Bach Dang bridge after making adjustments based on the direction of QNPPC and suggestion of relevant provincial departments. Accordingly, there is no big change in total investment capital. However, the investor has changed the duration of toll collection and would like to involve in land development within Dam Nha Mac area (Quang Yen town). Also at the meeting, representative of the investor has responded all questions related to the financial plan of the project.
To conclude the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Doc highly appreciated SE Group’s active involvement in this project. The Chairman of QNPPC agreed to separate the Bach Dang bridge from the high way project. He indicated at the meeting that the PPC prioritizes to build the bridge.
Regarding the financial issue, Mr. Nguyen Van Doc stressed that the two sides need to further carefully discuss before making final decision. Form of capital refund is toll collection. However, the toll rate must comply with current laws of Vietnam.
