On Aug 31, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long chaired a meeting with repsentatives of Rent A Port group regarding the implementation of the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone project.
At the working session, the investor presented their proposals on some reajustments related to the Bac Tien Phong IZ project.
Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long strongly affirmed that the province will continue their highest support and offer the best conditions to the invetsor during the construction of the Bac Tien Phong IZ, and other projects.
He agreed with the Group's proposal of building a temporary road connecting the Bac Tien Phong IZ with Ha Long- Hai Phong expressway. The document will be soon submitteed by Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee to the Ministry of Transport for agreement on this proposal.
Related to the partly adjustment of the water supply chain project, he assigned Economic Zone Management Board to review and approve the project as soon as possible.
Regarding the removal of the electric lines, Quang Ninh's Chairmanasked the People's Committee of Quang Yen town to closely collaborate with Quang Ninh's relevant sectors and departments to get it done at the earliest.
Besides, the Chairman of Quang Ninh also wished that Rent A Port group would support Quang Ninh in attracting investors from Russia to the province.
Located in Quang Yen town, the Bac Tien Phong Industrial park covers an area of nearly 1,200 hectares. It is invested by the Rent A Port group. In the period of 2017-2018, the group will invest in some of the vital components of the project, such as the gate of the park; the Office bulding; technical infrastructure; a road from Phong Hai- Tien Phong communes to the office building; completing the report on the environmental impact assessment; as well as evaluating the current state of the mangrove forests, etc. The total investment capital of these components is around US $ 25 million.
