On Aug 25, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee singned an MOU with Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA and partners on the project “Piloting Japanese technologies for improving agricultural processing capacity through inter-city collaboration between Asahikawa City, Japan and Quang Ninh, Vietnam”. Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairman, Dang Huy Hau, chaired the meeting.
The Vice-chairman emphasized the importance of the project which will improve the quality of Quang Ninh’s agricultural products.
According to the MOU, Quang Ninh will be introduced, provided with, and transferred the agricultural product processing technology from Asahikawa, Japan. Both sides will organize workshops sharing experiences in processing agricultural products and evaluating the samples. A cooperative in Dong Trieu and one another in Dam Ha district are chosen for the pilot project which runs for 2 years and 7 months.
