The Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and the four central press agencies, namely Nhan dan (People) Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency (VNA), Vietnam Television (VTV), and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) signed agreements in Hanoi on July 12, in a bid to promote more local images in 2017-2020 tenure.
Under the agreements, Quang Ninh province and the four press agencies will undertake a wide range of propaganda activities to intensify promoting Quang Ninh's images on media to introduce its potential and advantages to not only Vietnamese people and the overseas Vietnamese but also international communities. Moreover, limitations in State management, socio-economic development that need to be dealed with will also be reflected via those information channels in order to ensure the objectivity, positive information orientation and emulation spirit for the people.
Affirming the significant roles and great contributions of the press agencies during the construction and development process of Quang Ninh province, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Nguyen Van Doc wished that Nhan dan Newspaper, VNA, VTV, and VOV would enchance advertising Quang Ninh's images as a must-visit destination and livable city; disseminate widely breakthrough pathway proposals of Quang Ninh
Emphasizing that Quang Ninh will host the 2018 National Tourism Year and 2019 ASEAN Tourism Forum, the Provincial Party leader proposed the four agencies to concentrate on propagating these important events, thereby boosting Quang Ninh tourism.
On behalf of the four press agencies's leaders, Mr. Nguyen The Ky- the President of the Voice of Vietnam, highly aprreciated Quang Ninh's great efforts and achievements over the years. He pledged that in order to effectively conduct all the contents as signed, specific plans for the propaganda programs will be soon drawn, aming at providing timely updated information about socio-economic development of Quang Ninh province; thereby contributing to the development of the country in general and Quang Ninh in particular.
