On Sept 18, Quang Ninh’s working delegation led by Quang Ninh’s Nguyen Van Thang visited Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Van Thang hoped both sides would enhance cooperation in their advantageous fields like sea logistics, light industries, consumer goods, cultural products, industrial zones, smart city, high-tech agriculture. Quang Ninh invited Yokohama would work with Amata Group in consulting and building Ha Long City as a smart city by 2020.
Deputy Mayor of Yokohama, Katsunori Watanabe, highly appreciated Quang Ninh’s breakthroughs in development over the last few years. He hoped that both sides would establish long-term cooperation in the future and sharing experiences in building and managing cities.
Both sides then witnessed the cooperative agreement signing ceremony between Amanta Ha Long Join-stock Company and Yokohama Urban Solution Alliance, representative for Yokohama.
Earlier, Quang Ninh’s delegation paid a working visit to Marubeni Corporation, one of 5 the biggest economic corporations in Japan.
