On Oct. 4th, Vice-chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Bui Van Khang, had a courtesy meeting with a delegation from Tourism Committee of the German Bundestag led by Dr. Klaus-Peter Friedrich Walter Schulze, member of the Bundestag, on their visit to Quang Ninh.
The Vice-chairman emphasized that Quang Ninh Province had been expanding investment in infrastructure and tourism, promoting advertisements, and putting a focus on fostering and improving the quality of human resource for tourism, as well as building a favorable environment for enterprises and tourism community. In 2018 alone, Quang Ninh received 12 million tourist arrivals. The province sets a goal of welcoming 15 million tourist arrivals in 2019, including 5 million foreign tourist arrivals.
Dr. Klaus-Peter Friedrich Walter Schulze, member of the Bundestag, thanked Quang Ninh’s leader for his warm reception. He hoped his visit to Quang Ninh would further boost tourism cooperation between Quang Ninh and Germany in the future.
