Around 100 OCOP products of Quang Ninh are presented at the OCOP International Fair 2019 which takes place from Apr. 17-20 at the Saigon Exihibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh city.
The OCOP International Fair in 2019 with the participation of about 700 booths from provinces, cities, professional associations nationwide. They brought together businesses from 15 countries and territories, including Japan, the Netherlands, India, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Cambodia, Kenya, Afghanistan, Australia, Madagascar, Nepal and Russia.
The Fair aims to promote handicraft products, typical gifts and new designs of Vietnamese handicraft villages; create opportunities for enterprises to display their creative and distinct products; strengthening and expanding trade promotion activities, providing a platform to promote and attract domestic and foreign consumers and tourists, improving the competitiveness of handicraft villages’ products and spurring production and domestic and overseas sale, creating opportunities for international visitors, importers, domestic and foreign distributors to approach Vietnamese OCOP branded products; developing trade links among the participating countries and localities across Vietnam.
The Quang Ninh’s OCOP products displayed at the Fair are hi-quality from 3 - 5 star products with various types. Quang Ninh goods booth allures a great number of visitors thanks to different kinds of must-try dishes, such as: Ba Kich wine, oyster rousong, steamed glutinous rice, Camellia chrysantha tea, Cai Rong sauce, etc.
Under the framework of the OCOP International Fair 2019, representatives of enterprises, production units from Quang Ninh took part in the Global OCOP Network Connection Forum with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the countries implementing OVOP or OCOP programs, sharing experiences and exchanging information about promoting investment, exporting products and boosting the connections among organizations during the OCOP program implementation.
