On the morning of Sept 19th, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Vietnam Airlines on the implementation of strategic agreement signed on January 22nd, 2018. Chairman of Quang Ninh Nguyen Van Thang, presided over the meeting with the attendance of leaders from relevant departments and Sun Group.
Delivering a speech at the meeting, General Director of Vietnam Airlines affirmed that Quang Ninh’s enthusiastic involvement via preferential policies and connection in transportation system had created conditions for Van Don International Airport to operate effectively. Vietnam Airlines wanted to go along with Quang Ninh on the road of popularizing Quang Ninh’s image and turning the province into a safe, friendly, and appealing destination to tourists and investors.
Chairman of Quang Ninh Nguyen Van Thang, highly appreciated Vietnam Airlines’ contribution to aviation development in Quang Ninh. He affirmed that signed agreement had brought initial good results. He proposed Vietnam Airlines to operate more domestic and international flights to Quang Ninh. The chairman of Quang Ninh also said that the province would continue its cooperation with Vietnam Airlines and Sun Group in operating Van Don International Airport effectively.
