On Nov 12th, in Ha Noi, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, had a working session with Head of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) Ha Noi office concerning the cooperative results between Quang Ninh and JETRO Ha Noi, orientations and key missions in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, Quang Ninh’s chairman emphasized that Quang Ninh was the only province in Vietnam that had 30-year-visioned cooperative program with JETRO Ha Noi since 2013. Over the past 6 years, JETRO Ha Noi has been acting as an important bridge between Japan and Quang Ninh’s businesses. It has been also a coordinator of Cherry Blossom and Yellow Apricot Flower Festival. Besides, it has helped with popularizing Quang Ninh’s image to Japanese people…
The chairman recommended JETRO Ha Noi to continue collaborating and supporting Quang Ninh at Japanese Investment Promotion Workshops held in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City in the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2020, and to attract more investors to industrial zones in the province. He affirmed that Quang Ninh pleages to offer the most preferential policies to Japanese investors in order to reach the target that the number of Japanese enterprises in Quang Ninh would be one of the biggest with the highest investment value.
At the meeting, Head of JETRO Ha Noi highly appreciated Quang Ninh’s socio-economic achievements over the past years, especially changes in attracting investment and developing infrastructure of transportation and tourism…
He also affirmed that JETRO Ha Noi would go along with Quang Ninh in promoting and attracting more Japan’s investment into the province, thus enhancing the extensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan in general, Quang Ninh and Japanese businesses in particular.
