On Apr.21, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, hosted a meeting with representative for Amata Group to review the investment progress in Song Khoai Industrial Park (Quang Yen Town) and the road connecting the industrial park with transport system in the province.
Amata Group is implementing 3 projects in Quang Ninh with total registered investment capital of 176 million USD. The project at Song Khoai Industrial Park, covering an area of 714 ha, got total investment of more than 155 million USD.
The project is divided into 5 phases. The first phase, covering an area of 123 ha, started construction at the end of 2018. Quang Yen Town basically handed over the clear ground in Sept.2020 and plans to put into operation within this year.
As for the 2nd and 5th phase, the town is conducting ground clearance of nearly 200 ha. 60% have been finished.
To uphold the role of the industrial park to the town’s development in particular and the province in general, Amata Group proposed Group’s willing to undertake partial investment in the project on building road connecting Ha Long – Hai Phong Highway to the industrial park. The 10-lane road, 6km in length and 60 m in width, is expected to start construction in 2020.
Speaking at the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Chairman highly appreciated Amata Group’s accompanying in developing Song Khoai Industrial Park which is one of provincial key project.
In order to create the most favorable condition for the investor, Quang Ninh will review the roadmap and legal procedures to implement the projects.
