On July 10, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thang received China’s TCL Corporation who is seeking investment cooperation opportunities, implementing projects in industrial and economic zones in Quang Ninh.
TCL Corporation registered to implement speaker and headphone manufacture projects in Dong Mai Industrial Zone which is waiting for province’s approval. If approved, the two projects will officially be put into operation by May, 2020 and provide jobs for around 2,000 local laborers.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman affirmed that along with modern synchronous traffic system, in recent years, Quang Ninh has continuously and actively reformed its policies and created favorable investment environment. Quang Ninh topped Vietnam’s provincial competitiveness index (PCI) ranking in two consecutive years of 2017 and 2018. Chairman Thang added that Quang Ninh pledges to continue support TCL and secondary investors to study and carry out their projects in the province.
