On the occasion of the Vietnam - UK Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) held in Ha Long, Vice-chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Bui Van Khang, had a courtesy meeting with a delegation from the UK led by the Trade Policy Deputy Minister, Conor Burns, on Oct. 4th.
On his remark, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairman made an introduction about potential and development orientation that Quang Ninh is implementing and attracting investment to the province. He wished that the UK delegation would become a bridge to link Quang Ninh with British enterprises and introduce them about fields that the province was in need, for instance, aviation, tourism and services, logistics…
The UK’s Trade Policy Deputy Minister, Conor Burns, said that he would discuss with British enterprises about Quang Ninh’s potential and strength. He also hoped that he would greatly contribute to advertise and promote the beauty of Ha Long Bay, thus attracting more British tourists to Quang Ninh in particular and to Vietnam in general.
