On Oct. 10th, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh People’s Committee Bui Van Khang hosted a meeting to review the draft regulation on management of tourist boat operation on Ha Long Bay.
Accordingly, the new draft consits of 5 Chapters, 16 Articles, a reduction of 4 Chapters and 22 Articles compared to the old regulations, mainly detailing measures to manage ports, berths, operating time, techincal safety equipment, environmental protection, the quality of tourist boats, B&B boats, reponsibities of relevant organizations and individuals etc.
Concluding the meeiting, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Bui Van Khang asked the Drafting Panel to fully collect opinions from participants to urgently complete the draft regulation on management of tourist boat operation on Ha Long Bay. The new regulation should encourge the development, contributing to diversifying types of tourism produts and boosting efficient business towards scientific and modern managmenet model.
