Quang Ninh PPC works with France-based Vinci Construction Grands Projets Group

The Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh PPC Nguyen Van Thanh on May 14 had a meeting with the Vinci Construction Grands Projets Group to discuss about some water supply and wastewater drainage projects in Quang Ninh province.

Vinci Construction Grands Projets is a company of VINCI Group, the world leader in construction and associated services employing close to 150,000 people in some 80 countries. At the meeting, local departments introduced to the Group about several projects in line with VINCI’s interests such as the project to upgrade and expand the water supply system in Mong Cai city, the wastewater treatment project in Ha Long city, the water supply project in Van Don island district, the project to build wastewater treatment stations in Uong Bi city and Quang Yen town, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh PPC Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the cooperation of VINCI Group and consultancy companies.

Quang Ninh has paid much attention to build water supply and wastewater treatment systems across the province, the Vice Chairman said. Thus, he directed the Department of Planning and Investment to support VINCI during their pre-implementation phase and other phases.

He also asked VINCI to collaboratively work with local departments and localities as well as give priority to taking surveys in some areas namely Ha Long city, Van Don Economic Zone and Mong Cai Border Economic Zone.
