On December 24, Quang Ninh province People’s Committee worked with the Northern Investment Promotion Center, Ministry of Planning and Investment to prepare the investment promotion Conference in Quang Ninh in 2012. As planned, the investment promotion Conference in Quang Ninh in 2012 will be held from 23 to 24 February 2012 at the Conference Center of Quang Ninh. This is the national conference with expectedly between 400 and 500 participants.
The conference is aimed to introduce the strategy of socio-economic development of Quang Ninh to 2020 and the vision 2030; promote the potential, advantages of the province and orientation to attract investment and create dynamic force for economic growth. The conference will be a forum for economic sectors, agencies, investors, national and international businesses to meet, exchange ideas, cooperate on investment, trade in the province of Quang Ninh ...

At the meeting, the Northern Investment Promotion Center, Ministry of Planning and Investment presented the preliminary script for the investment promotion Conference in Quang Ninh in 2012. Expectedly, the main activities taking place at the conference will include: an official ceremony to hounour Ha Long Bay as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world, a seminar with the theme "Green growth, the Vietnamese inevitable trend" and the direct negotiations between foreign and local partners; a consultation workshop on policies and investment opportunities for Mong Cai ...
After the presentation of preliminary script for the conference by the Northern Investment Promotion Center, the participants gave ideas to build measures, ways to implement the content of the conference related to: financial sources, policies and mechanisms to attract investors at the conference, information, security work, coordination among provincial agencies ...
To end the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice-Chairman of Quang Ninh province People’s Committee praised the efforts by departments to advise Quang Ninh province People’s Committee to build the script for the conference. The national conference of international importance has great significance, requiring close coordination of the departments and agencies in Quang Ninh.
Based on the functions, responsibilities and duties, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice-Chairman of Quang Ninh province People’s Committee assigned specific tasks for each department, agency to be implemented as planned. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for the script of the ceremony to hounour Ha Long Bay as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world, The department of Information and Communications has to build and operate the conference website, in coordination with the Northern Investment Promotion Center to hold a press conference by 15 January 2012.
The Vice-Chairman of Quang Ninh province People’s Committee also asked the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Northern Investment Promotion Center to build a detailed script for the conference: listed guests . On 31 December 2011, the Department of Planning and Investment will complete the files of investment projects called for at the meeting. Ha Long City People's Committee will decorate Ha Long city, support the conference and honour Ha Long Bay.
In addition, Mong Cai city People's Committee will hold the consultation workshop on policies and investment opportunities for of Ho Mong Cai 15 days before the conference.
