The Quang Ninh OCOP partnership workshop officially opens for the first time on Dec. 25 in Ha Long city, drawing the participation of more than 300 enterprises, cooperatives as well as production units under OCOP program and their partners within of Quang Ninh and from other provinces.

Speaking at the conference, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau affirmed that after 5 years, the OCOP program has offered new ways for local people in producing traditional products in rural areas and helps restructure the rural economy. It has also contributed to increase the number and quality of the economic entities.
The fact shows that the economic entities involved in the OCOP program have high needs in seeking for its capable partners to offer hi-quality consultation and services to raise the values of products. Therefore, the organization of this workshop is very significant for connecting the relevant units and businisses in order to develop the chain of OCOP products. Having said that, the Vice Chairman then asked the OCOP’s partners to share and discuss about their demands and cooperation possibilities so the OCOP program’s production units could have opportunities to sign long-term cooperation agreements.
On the other hands, the Vice Chairman also requested the OCOP’s enterprises and production units to enhance marketing programs, improve and raise the quality of their products so as to meet the increasing demands of their partners.
Also at the conference, delegates joined a talk on Quang Ninh OCOP propram, discussing about a number of issues, such as: measures to trade promotion, technology and science transfering, developing cooperatives in line with the chain of the OCOP products via the conncection in the chain of production.
On this occasion, cooperation agreements on supplying production equiments, packaging, and consulting to develop international standard units were signed by the enterprises, cooperatives and production units.
