As reported, the 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair 2017 is scheduled to happen on Sep. 1-5 at the Quang Ninh Expo and Fair Center. The event is going to take place on the occasion of the National Day (Sep. 2), which is expected to be one of the most signinficant activities attracting a large amount of visitors to the province.
With the particicpation of 172 stands from localities, enterprises and cooperatives within province, the fair will introduce more than 290 Quang Ninh's OCOP products and the products from neighbouring provinces and cities. This is not only one of the annual event held to promote production in Quang Ninh but also a good chance for businesses, organizations and individuals to seek for information and to expand consuming markets.
Remarkably, a part from the agricultural products of Quang Ninh, there will be 11 stands of other partners, such as Hanoi's Smart Line, Thai Nguyen University,… Those partners will provide different types of services, namely packaging, bar code, training, science and technology appliance..., which will help OCOP businesses and production units enhance their products' quality and expand the consuming markets.
One of the new point of the 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair 2017 is the participation of booths presenting goods from Thailand, laos, RoK, etc. with hi quality and diversity of their products, meeting the export standards and requirements.
This will be a good opportunity for OCOP production units and organizations of Quang Ninh to exchange experiences and learn from other domestic and foreign enterprises in processing and developing products. Thereby, they may invest in production and build integration capacity of their products to be exported.
The attraction of the 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair 2017 is not only because of the diverse of the OCOP products but also a variety of interesting activities during the event. As reported, the organization board will grant classification certificates to the Quang Ninh OCOP products of 2017, aiming at developing OCOP products in line with the national and international standards, and helping organizations produce hi-quality products.
The highlight of this year's fair is the workshop on promoting OCOP products held on Sep.2 with the participation of over 300 delegates of the central ministries and departments, as well as 62 localities across the country. Experiences in trade promotion of OCOP products will be shared by Quang Ninh. At the workshop, participants will also discuss about the way in which agricultural products in general and OCOP products in particular should be promoted.
The outcome of the workshop would be useful for Quang Ninh province to improve trade promotion of OCOP products and help multiply model of the OCOP program in national level and expand and consuming markets of the agricultural products.
During the event, a conference to conncect demand and supply of the OCOP products is going to be organized in the afternoon of the same day. At the conference, participants will discuss about products and markets, demands of consuming; a signing ceremony will also be held to ink the cooperation agreements on consuming Quang Ninh's OCOP products between Quang Ninh and other partners; agreements on consuming agricultural products of the neighboring provinces and cities at the supermarkets and branches based in Quang Ninh.
It is confident that with new changes and good preparation, the 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair 2017 would be successful, alluring a larger amount of visitors to Quang Ninh, contributing to building a typical city brand.
