On March 3, Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, had a reception for Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam Catherine Wong Siow Ping.
At the reception, Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, emphasized that Quang Ninh has always attached importance to boosting cooperation with Singapore. As of late 2019, Singapore is the 3rd country among the countries and territories implementing 9 investment projects in Quang Ninh with a total registered capital of over 839 mil.USD. Besides tourism services and industrial production, Singapore and Quang Ninh have implemented effective cooperation in the field of education and training. Despite impacts caused by Covid-19, currently, Quang Ninh is still ensureng the safety for locals and tourists.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam Catherine Wong Siow Ping believed that on the basis of good cooperation relation, Singaporean investors would have more cooperation projects in Quang Ninh where is considered as a magnet for investors.
