Around 130 OCOP products of Quang Ninh were presented at the Vietnam-Laos trade fair (VIETLAO EXPO 2019) kicked off at the Lao International Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (Lao-ITECC) in Vientiane on June 27.
The Quang Ninh’s OCOP products displayed at the 3 day fair are hi-quality from 3 - 5 star products with various types, such as: Ba Kich wine, oyster rousong, steamed glutinous rice, Camellia chrysantha tea, Cai Rong sauce, etc. Especially on the opening day of the fair, Quang Ninh goods booth allured a great number of visitors, especially leaders of the two countries and local people.
This year’s event features nearly 300 booths from enterprises of Lao, Thailand and Vietnam. It also helps expand exchange of goods of three nations, and introduce their brand names and products. Through the event, Vietnam looks to foster export of goods to Laos and the northeastern region of Thailand. The Lao International Trade Exhibition and Convention serves as a venue for Vietnamese and Laos enterprises to seek partners.
Bringing Quang Ninh OCOP products to regional and foreign markets is very important and necessary. This is an importance for Quang Ninh’s businesses and cooperatives to find output for their products, and establish stable and long-term distribution channels in markets of regional countries.
