On Nov 14th, at Cai Lan Port Customs headquarter, Quang Ninh’s Customs had a working session with the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba, led by its Director General, Nelson Cordoves Reyes.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh Customs’ vice-director, Nguyen Van Huong, introduced about their significant achievements in administrative reform and customs modernization.
On behalf of the delegation, Cuba’s Director General of Customs thanked Quang Ninh Customs for their warm welcome. He affirmed that the methods of management, implementation, and operation by Vietnam’s Customs in general and Quang Ninh Customs in particular are practical and useful experiences for the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba to consider and apply.
During the visit to Quang Ninh, Cuban delegation made a farm trip to Cai Lan International Containers Terminal which is well operating Vietnam Automated System for Seaport Customs Management.
