Since the beginning of the year, thanks to the great efforts in investment promotion and support of functional authorities, Quang Ninh has welcomed numerous domestic and international investors, especially the leading investors, who came to Quang Ninh to seek for cooperation and development investment.
As reported, the Investment promotion Agency (IPA) has received 24 investor delegation arrivals to the province, seeing an increase of nearly 37% over the same period in 2018. Many of the areas have been paid with much attention by investors, such as: Services, tourism services, real estate; industry, etc. In the first 8 months of the year, there have been 20 projects approved for studying location and the detailed 1/500 construction planning in the province.
Also since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has timely handled the investors’ problems, thereby raising the investors’ satisfaction index. For instance, in August of 2019, the IPA received a proposal from Future Investment Medical Joint Stock Company (Czech Republic) on investing in a high-quality beer factory project in Quang Ninh. Right after receiving the information, the IPA actively coordinated with localities to provide the investor with updated information of the survey location and supported them to conduct field surveys at 7 locations in Dong Trieu town, Uong Bi city and Hoanh Bo district.
In addition, Quang Ninh also places much emphasis on domestic and international investment promotion activities. Along with advertising Quang Ninh’s potential and incentives, the province aims to continue to establish and maintain relationships with organizations and associations that have vital roles in connecting and promoting domestic investment, or with domestic and international banks, as well as investment consulting firms.
One of the example for this was the trade and investment promotion program held from August 26-30 in Japan, in which Quang Ninh’s delegation participated. Besides attending the event, Quang Ninh province delegation also organized its own investment promotion program aiming at alluring some of the Japanese investors who are really interested in exploring investment opportunities in Quang Ninh province.
