Quang Ninh and Curzon Delta sign MoU

On Oct. 28, in Ha Long city, a ceremony was held to ink a MoU between Quang Ninh province and Curzon Delta Group (US) regarding investment cooperation in a number of projects, namely Ha Long Van Don express way; Van Don airport; entertainment complex area in Van Don, and Hon Gai international tourism port. The ceremony was attended by  Mr. Do Thong - the Standing Vice Chairman of QNPPC.

Under the MoU, Curzon Delta group is studying the investment in Ha Long- Van Don expressway project, of which the starting point connects to the beginning point of the road linking Ha Long city and Bach Dang bridge, Km 102+300 National Road 18 (at Cai Mam hamlet, Dai Yen ward, Ha Long city), and the ending point is at Van Don district.

This is a Class A highway, with 6 lanes and the designed speed of 120km/h (100km/h in rough areas). The total investment capital of  the project is US$ 700 million. The first phase will begin with four lanes under investment forms of BOT, BT, and PPPP.

In addition, Curzon Delta group will consider the investment in Van Don international airport; the entertainment complex area and Hon Gai international tourism port.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Standing Vice-Chairman of QNPPC highly appreciated  the Group’s goodwill in these above projects. He also strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh will provide the investors with the best conditions to study, prepare for project proposal; and to ease administrative procedures though one-stop shop services.
