On March 26th, in Ha Long city, Vice-Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh chaired a meeting with Rent-A-Port Group (Belgium) presenting its plan to undertake feasibility study and environmental impact assessment study of the port cluster under Mac Dynasty Swamp Industrial Park (in Quang Yen town).
At the meeting, a representative of the Group has made a brief presentation of the plan. Accordingly, the aim of the studies is to develop infrastructure of the Mac Dynasty Swamp Industrial Park in principle of connecting to surrounding areas.. The Group wished to receive strong support from the QNPPC and all necessary information related to the projects, such as the development planning of the Mac Dynasty Swamp Industrial Park; transport system; infrastructure surrounding this industrial park; the existing evaluation of environmental impacts, and the information about mangrove forests in this area...
At the meeting, all the questions relevant to the project as well as mechanisms and policies on developing industrial parks raised by the Group were clarified by representatives from the provincial departments and sectors.
For his part, the Vice-Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the Group’s plan. He committed that Quang Ninh PPC will provide the best conditions to the group. At the same time, he assigned the Economic Zone Authority as a focal point of contact and directly work with the Group on specific contents.
The Group made a study tour at the Mac Dynasty Swamp Industrial Park on March 27th.
