On August 6, in Ha Long city, QNPPC had a meeting with representative office of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ha Noi. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh-Vice Chairman of QNPPC chaired the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the representative of JETRO Ha Noi wished to explore the situation of importing and exporting commodities and investment environment of Quang Ninh. Particularly, they would like to be provided with adequate information about investment environment of the Mong Cai Border Economic Zone and Van Don Economic Zone in order to promote investment of Japanese enterprises in Quang Ninh. He said that this is a good chance for Japanese enterprises to have more specific information to organize investment promotion and explore investment opportunities in Quang Ninh in the near future.
For his part, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh made a brief introduction to the delegation about the investment situation, potentials and strengths of the province in the fields of import-export, tourism, industry, seaport, forestry, aquatic production.. He also answered all the questions raised by the JETRO Ha Noi related to a number of issues, such as the scale of industrial parks, infrastructure, land price, human resource, investment procedures, etc. He highly appreciated the attention of the JETRO to the investment environment of the province and promised that QNPPC will offer the best conditions for the investors.
On the same day, the delegation visited Mong Cai Customs and explored investment environment as well as opportunities and facing challenges in Mong Cai Border Gate. On August 7, they continued their working visit to Van Don Economic Zone.
