On Jan. 22, in Ha Long city, Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc chaired a meeting with a delegation of Japanese Ministry of Economy and Trade to review the investment of Bach Dang bridge construction project (under the project connecting Ha Long city with Hanoi-Haiphong highway.)
At the meeting, a representative of the delegation has reported the result of the investment review of Bach Dang bridge construction under the project connecting Ha Long city with Hanoi-Haiphong highway. Accordingly, they have already evaluated the items related to design, investment types, operation duration, payment methods as well as the social and environmental impact assessment, etc.
Based on the review report, representatives of relevant departments of Quang Ninh and the delegation have discussed about a number of issues regarding the operation duration, IRR, implementation progress, and predicted risks during the project implementation...
To conclude the meeting, Chairman Doc highly appreciated the review result by the delegation. He affirmed that this is a vital project attracting much concern from Vietnamese government. Also, Quang Ninh committed that Quang Ninh takes this seriously and will provide the project with the highest support. He suggested that the two sides need further discuss the reach final agreement on project implementation.
