On Sept 23, QNPPC has worked with delegation of the Investment Promotion Center in the North regarding preparation for organization of a conference on investment promotion in Quang Ninh. The meeting has been chaired by Mr Nguyen Van Thanh, vice-chairman of QNPPC.
At the meeting, Mrs Phan Thi Thuy Cham-deputy director of the Investment promotion center in the North has presented contents relevant to the investment promotion conference. Accordingly, the conference is tentatively held on December 1st, 2011 under the theme of “ Quang Ninh- breakthrough in sustainable development”.
The conference is expected to further speed up the process of investment attraction in the province’s economy. In order to achieve good outcome and high effects, the conference has been well-prepared in both quality and quantity.
Also at the meeting, representatives from the provincial sectors have contributed their points of view on some issues, such as: strengthening propaganda and promotion activities on conference; providing good logistic arrangement for an appropriate organization of the conference.; and allocating guests and invitees. In terms of attendance, participants of the conference will be around 300 to 500 domestic and international delegates.
To conclude the meeting, Mr Nguyen Van Thanh stressed that the conference that will be held in Quang Ninh is an important investment promotion conference aiming at attracting resources, proposing new ways in investment promotion, and creating the distinction in investment promotion for the province. He also requested organizing units of the province to closely collaborate with the event organizer to rapidly implement the plan.
