On Feb. 20, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh chaired a meeting with representatives of Amtec Resources management Ltd., Co (Britain) regarding the project on building an industrial waste treatment plant.
At the meeting, the representative of AMTEC Resources Management Ltd.,Co introduced a brief of the project on building an industrial waste treatment plant. Accordingly, the 15-hectare plant is estimated with the total investment capital of US$ 60 million and a capacity of 150,000-180,000 ton per year in a duration of 18 months. The project location is proposed in Cam Pha city. The plant will be equiped with modern technological equipment for waste treatment.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the Company’s concerns and preparations for the project. Thanh stressed that the project is related to the environment, to which the PPC always attaches. Therefore, Quang Ninh will provide the investors with the best conditions for their project implementation.
Thanh also assigned IPA to collaborate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to complete the MoU with the investors to carry out the next steps.
