“Quang Ninh always treasures the relationship and cooperation with Lao localities in the fields of economy, trade, education and training, culture and tourism”, stressed the Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Bui Van Khang while hosting a reception for the delegation led by Deputy Minister of the Lao Finance Ministry Bounch Ubonpaseuth on Feb. 27 in Ha Long city.
The Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Bui Van Khang made a brief introduction to the delegation about the province’s socio-economic development, as well as great results achieved in the cooperation between some of Lao localities of Laos and Quang Ninh province.
The host affirmed that Quang Ninh would continue enhancing the cooperation tie with provinces and cities of Laos in all areas, greatly contributing to fostering the traditional friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive co-operation between the two Parties, States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
The Deputy Minister of Finance of Laos, in turns, expressed that he was so impressed with Quang Ninh development in recent years, especially breakthroughs and new ways in attracting investment.
"In addition, the experiences learnt from Vietnam ingeneral and Quang Ninh in particular in the field of finance would be valuable for economic development of Laos", he said.
