Provincial leader inspects the project by Vietnam-Australia Corp in Dam Ha

Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Dang Huy Hau paid a visit to Dam Ha district to inspect the progress of the high-quality shrimp breeding complex project invested by the Vietnam-Australia Seafood Corporation.

As reported, Vietnam-Australia Seafood Corporation had exported the first amount of 12 million whiteleg shrimp seeds on Mar. 27, and supplied over 50 million seeds to Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh. Currently, with 14 shrimp breeding farms located in Dam Ha district, the Corporation has supplied around 14 million seeds to the markets. The number is expected to raise in 2019.

In addition to produce shrimp breeds, Vietnam-Australia Seafood Corporation has improved infratstructure to breed shrimp in glass houses, an Israeli membrane technology by the end of April.

After inspecting all the components of the high-quality shrimp breeding complex project, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau highly appreciated great efforts of the Vietnam-Australia Seafood Corporation during their project implementation.

He also asked the Corporation to complete infrastructure system for the production as soon as possible, and pay attention to develop the workforce, particularly attracting the locals in order to ensure the project’s operation in Quang Ninh. Vice Chairman also directed the Corporation to offer Quang Ninh’s aquaculture households lower prices of whiteleg shrimp breeds, and complete the waste water treatment systems.
