In preparation for the 6thVietnam-China border defense friendship exchange in Quang Ninh, a delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Defense led by Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, cum Party Central Committee member, Central Military Commission member, and Commander of the Border Guards undertook a survey to reach agreement on the organisation of the event with Quang Ninh as the host province.
Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary, cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, Vice-chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Bui Van Khang, and leaders of relevant departments and localities received the delegation.
The 6th Vietnam-China border defense friendship exchange will take place in Jan 2020 with the participation of officials from both Vietnam and China, leaders from ministries of defense, and representative leaders from border provinces of Vietnam and China. This important political event contributes to enhancing brotherhood between the 2 countries and creating opportunities for cultural exchange and experience sharing in production.
Within the event agenda, there will be a troop review, common border patrols, anti-terrorism drills, a border landmark salute ceremony at Hoanh Mo Border Gate, Binh Lieu District, planting trees of friendship at Khu Cho Hamlet, Dong Van Commune, Binh Lieu District…
