The fifth One Commune, Once Product (OCOP) fair in Quang Ninh officially wrapped up in the evening of Sep 5th.
The 5-day fair attracted over 60,000 arrivals, up 19 percent comparedto last year. The total revenue was estimated around VND 6.3 billion, seeing an rise of 15 percent against the previous one, reported the 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair's Organizing Board.
Of which, the revenue from Quang Ninh's booths was nearly VND 3.4 billion. Dong Trieu town and Tien Yen District are the localities that gain the highest revenue, with VND 551.5 and 385 million, respectively.
The revenue from foreign stands was reported to reach nearly VND 600 million.
The 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair 2017 with 224 stalls introducing various types of locally-made products such as farm produce, beverages, medicinal herbs, home decoration, souvenirs, garment-textile, etc. This year is also the first time that the event has had the participation of the enterprises from Rok, Thailand and Laos presenting agriculrural products, food and handicraft.
The attraction of the 5th Quang Ninh OCOP fair 2017 was not only because of the diverse of the OCOP products but also a variety of interesting activities during the event. As reported, the organization board granted classification certificates to the Quang Ninh OCOP products of 2017, aiming at developing OCOP products in line with the national and international standards, and helping organizations produce hi-quality products.
